This 2,000 square foot installation went in during April 2010 at the Wohlson Sustainability Center Franklin and Marshall College as part of the Lancaster County Planning Commissions Roof Greening program.  The program set out to demonstrate the many benefits of roof greening while developing the capacity of local businesses to install this innovative technology.  To learn more about green roofs click here.  To view a time lapse video of the installation click here.

This is a 200 square foot residential Green Roof installation completed in the spring of 2009 in Lancaster County PA.  The structure was engineered to handle a weight load of up to 50 lbs per square foot.  The system installed is a LiveRoof  modular system that should soak up 99% of the first 1″ of rain.  www.liveroof.com

The video from the installation is a little rough or caddy wampus, but does a pretty good job of showing how simple a modular green roof installation can be.
